The DUHS organized the 1st International Conference on Biomedical Sciences titled “Bridging Basic and Translational Research” on March 20-21, 2023, which was a collaborative international conference having dialogue and presentations aimed to tackle the SDGs. The event was attended by a total of 350 participants, with 267 registrations confirmed. A total of 170 abstracts were submitted for consideration, contributing to a diverse range of topics. Organizers had outlined 13 initial tasks to ensure the event ran smoothly. Throughout the conference, 28 oral presentations were delivered, alongside 122 poster presentations, providing ample opportunities for participants to share their research. Additionally, 18 papers were published in the X category, showcasing the high quality of the work presented. The international event also featured three distinguished international speakers from the USA and Malaysia, adding a global perspective to the discussions.
