Educational Visit to Dr. Aisha Health Vision Hospital: A Collaborative Initiative by IBHM and DIHPE

The Institute of Business and Health Management (IBHM), in collaboration with the Dow Institute of Health Professionals Education (DIHPE), successfully organized an educational visit to Dr. Aisha Health Vision Hospital (IQ Brain & Soul Unit) for the students of the Bachelor of Studies in Accounting and Finance (BSAF) program. The visit was coordinated and facilitated by Ms. Sadia Awan, Lecturer and Faculty Coordinator at DIHPE.

The objective of the visit was to introduce students to the multifaceted nature of the healthcare and mental health sectors, and to help them explore diverse career pathways that intersect with finance, administration, and health systems management. This initiative aimed to enhance students’ understanding of the operational, psychological, and patient-centered aspects of healthcare services in real-time clinical settings.

During the visit, students had the opportunity to:

– Interact with patients and mental health professionals

– Participate in therapeutic and recreational activities, including grounding exercises and games that support emotional regulation

– Engage in Q&A sessions to better understand mental health care delivery and client engagement

– Observe reflex enhancement activities and group-based interventions such as musical chairs, which promote coordination and cognitive stimulation

The experience provided students with a practical overview of healthcare environments, highlighting the relevance of financial literacy, management, and interpersonal skills within clinical and therapeutic contexts.
