Our department proudly presented the research study, “Prognostic Impact of BMI in Genders with CAD using SPECT Gated MPI” at the Pakistan Society of Nuclear Medicine conference held in November 2025.

The study highlighted the important relationship between body mass index (BMI), gender differences, and coronary artery disease (CAD), emphasizing the valuable role of SPECT Gated Myocardial Perfusion Imaging in assessing patient prognosis and improving clinical decision-making. Presenting this research at a national scientific platform reflected our department’s growing contribution to academic excellence, research innovation, and evidence-based practice in the field of nuclear medicine.
