“From Counts to Clarity: Mastering Nuclear Medicine Technology”

The Department of Nuclear Medicine & Theranostics, DUHS successfully organized the CME

Symposium & Poster Competition, “From Counts to Clarity: Mastering Nuclear Medicine Technology,” on 16th May 2026. The event received an overwhelming response with 100+ participants from various healthcare technology disciplines.

A key highlight was the Poster Competition, where the top 20 posters were shortlisted for the Poster Walk and showcased through live appreciation on screen, and the top 3 presenters were awarded cash prizes for their outstanding scientific contributions.

The symposium featured insightful expert talks, scenario-based interactive sessions, inspirational success stories of Nuclear Medicine Technologists, and active student engagement.

The event concluded with the launch of the Annual Newsletter of the Department of Nuclear Medicine & Theranostics by Prof. Dr Jahan Ara Hassan, Pro Vice Chancellor, and Prof Dr Nosheen Fatima HOD Nuclear Medicine & Theranostics DUHS and appreciation to Ms Asma Ismail for her extraordinary contribution in formulation of Newsletter.

We are especially thankful to Vice Chancellor DUHS, Prof. Nazli Hossain, for her continuous support, encouragement, and commitment toward promoting academic excellence and professional development initiatives.

Grateful to all speakers, faculty, organizers, students and “NMT HEROS” who made this event successful and memorable. Together, we continue advancing innovation, education, and excellence in Nuclear Medicine.
