The 13th Cadaveric Temporal Bone Dissection Workshop was successfully held on May 31, 2025, at the Temporal Bone Skill Lab – Anatomy Dissection Hall (1st floor), Dow Medical College. Organized by the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery Unit-I, DMC – Dr. Ruth KM Pfau CHK, DUHS, this event marked a significant milestone as the first of its kind in our new skill lab, specifically dedicated to the training of FCPS residents.

Our aim was to cultivate skilled otolaryngologists by enhancing their temporal bone anatomical understanding and refining surgical skills, thereby directly contributing to improved patient outcomes.

The workshop hosted four FCPS-II Year 4 residents who had prior observer experience, alongside new observers, at four fully equipped stations, complemented by a master trainer station.

This success was truly a team effort. We extend our sincere gratitude to:

We are incredibly grateful for the presence and cooperation of Dr. Anjum Naveed, Dr. Shaheen Mallick, Dr. Razzaq Dogar, Prof. Zafar, Prof. Iqbal Hussain, Prof. Naheed Khan, and the faculty of Unit 1 & 2 for their valuable presence in making this vital cadaveric course a resounding success. Acquiring such precision skills is paramount for our surgical trainees.
