Dow University of Health Sciences, Karachi, Pakistan, has become the first public sector university in the country to officially join Advance HE. By engaging with the Fellowship Program, the institution reinforces its commitment to educational excellence while also receiving formal recognition for this pursuit. Advance HE membership was officially led by Prof. Sonia Ijaz Haider, with the agreement signed by Registrar Dr. Ashar Afaq on behalf of Dow University of Health Sciences and Kathryn Harrison-Graves on behalf of Advance HE.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Mohammed Saeed Quraishy, T.I, “As Pakistan’s largest and most comprehensive health sciences institution, Dow University of Health Sciences stands as a model of excellence in education, research, and clinical care. We are thrilled to collaborate with Advance HE, UK, to further support the ongoing professional development of our faculty, ensuring they continue to excel in their fields.”

Prof. Haider stated “This marks a significant milestone in showcasing the university’s dedication to enhancing teaching, learning, and the overall student experience. The program provides a structured pathway for faculty to continually improve their teaching practices, ensuring students benefit from high-quality, innovative education.
