Dr. Ishfaque Ahmed, Adult Infectious Diseases Consultant at the Sindh Infectious Diseases Hospital & Research Center (SIDH&RC), shares awareness on Chikungunya, a viral disease transmitted through mosquito bites.

Chikungunya causes sudden fever, joint pain, and other symptoms like headache, muscle pain, rash, and fatigue. While the disease is rarely fatal, the joint pain can be severe and long-lasting.

Dr. Ishfaque emphasized the importance of early diagnosis and proper care to manage symptoms and prevent complications.
